Аннотация
The paper describes advantages of teaching and application of modellingmanufacturing systems. Two paradigms of modelling: Queuing systems and Simulation are briefly presented and analysed. Advantages of distance learning these approachesworldwide are presented. Furthermore, a combinedway of learning these twomethods,with a focus on the modelling and simulating selected basic processes of manufacturing systems, is proposed in briefly described case study. The concept provides division of this method depending on student’s education level.
