The paper presents the application of a transdisciplinary approach, which allows to determine the place of large-scale systems in a holistic picture of the world, procedures for the synthesis of such systems, and methods for controlling them. The article highlights the key points concerning the specifics of the systems under consideration. Revealed a set of tasks, the solution of which determines the appropriate methodology. Shown the sources of a wealth of methods.
